House made of brick

Posted by drphoto (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) on 20 February 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Mala and I spotted this beautiful red brick building whilst on a drive. It is the Holloway Campus of the Royal College of London (or something like that).

We only had my Sigma SD14 SLR and DP1 compact to play with and the light was failing fast. While I scurried around with the SLR trying to find a striking composition, Mala picked up my DP1 and, with her first shot of the day, took the best picture. You can see it here.

This is one of my favourites - although I've spent ages in the editing suite trying to get what I want from it and I still feel there's something missing... Grrrr!

I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms.
I am here to learn. The fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)

If you don't have time to comment don't forget to give a star rating as you pass through!
