Landscape - 14Posted by drphoto (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) on 14 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This was taken in the Lake District the same time as all the lone tree shots I posted last month. I had gone to the Lakes expecting brooding skies and interesting light but instead I was given a stunning summers day. Another chance to practice breaking my self made mould! I'm glad I had the Sigma SD10 on me that day because I just love how it handles blue skies. I've spent most of last month working on images to put on my (currently under construction) website. Most of them I won't be posting here but landscape photography is the area I'm most interested in getting into so I figured, why not put them out there (or on here)! I am 80-90% satisfied with these images; I like to photograph wild places and dramtic landscapes but I'm not sure if my processing seems a little... amature. So please be as harsh as you can regarding post processing as well as composition, lighting, subject matter etc: I'm looking to improve! I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms. If you don't have time to comment don't forget to give a star rating as you pass through! Dan P.S.
