Landscape - 5

This one is not a seascape but is a lake near Coniston in the Lake district. Again, this is just before sunrise. it would have been a pretty bland shot if it wasn't for those brooding clouds and the facr that the lake was still enough to act as a mirror.

I've spent most of last month working on images to put on my (currently under construction) website. Most of them I won't be posting here but landscape photography is the area I'm most interested in getting into so I figured, why not put them out there (or on here)!

I am 80-90% satisfied with these images; I like to photograph wild places and dramtic landscapes but I'm not sure if my processing seems a little... amature. So please be as harsh as you can regarding post processing as well as composition, lighting, subject matter etc: I'm looking to improve!

I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms.
I am here to learn. The fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)

superb, one of my favourite spots in The Lakes, I spent a lot of time there as a child. This shot works really well, the mirrored lake, the boulders etc, but I really like the thin whispy line of cloud at the top (and the bottom for that matter)- it really frames the whole scene well.

I agree with Rhys that the clouds at top and bottom are really excellent. This is beautiful, so I'm sorry the watermark is so distracting to the mood.

I like symmetry and dramatic atmosphere. The line of clouds is realy well done.
Is it possible to put "aminus 3.com" to another place because it's realy embarrassing on the midle to appreciate the picture correctly, especialy this one.

Everyone seems to complain about the watermark but it is not part of the image! Personally I can see through it and it doesn't bother me. I tried to change the settings but nothing seems to happen after the fact.

Excellent shot with the clouds as a frame. But the watermark is very distracting in the middle.

@Betty: Thanks Betty =D) The protection mark is meant to be distracting, otherwise it does little to protect! Perhaps I am being a little possesive of my images though =D/

What a wonderful shot, of all your landscapes this is my favorite. Agree with comment on the watermark, it detracts from the image and should preferably be moved.

a beautiful land/seascape. it really expresses the early morning feeling/atmosphere well too. the only piece of constructive criticism i might give is that i think i would like it better if it was sharper/more detailed -- but that's also just my personal taste and greatly influenced by my own difficulty capturing detail in landscapes. either way it's a beautiful shot.
