Landscape - 4

Posted by drphoto (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) on 4 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Another sunset. I got lucky finding this rock outcrop pointing due west. I wish I had used a slower shutter speed to make the water look more eerie, which would fit more with this rather dramatic shot, but I did not have a tripod so couldn't risk it.

I've spent most of last month working on images to put on my (currently under construction) website. Most of them I won't be posting here but landscape photography is the area I'm most interested in getting into so I figured, why not put them out there (or on here)!

I am 80-90% satisfied with these images; I like to photograph wild places and dramtic landscapes but I'm not sure if my processing seems a little... amature. So please be as harsh as you can regarding post processing as well as composition, lighting, subject matter etc: I'm looking to improve!

I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms.
I am here to learn. The fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)

If you don't have time to comment don't forget to give a star rating as you pass through!
