One more from London. I was looking for a slightly-less-than-tourist photo of Big Ben and saw this 'my dad's bigger than your dad' type face off going on. Its not terribly original and I apologise for the horrible halo effects (result of a quick edit) but I still quite like it =D)
I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms. I am here to learn. the fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)
If you don't have time to comment don't forget to give a star rating as you pass through!

@Helma: You're welcome, thank you for commenting =D)
I love it when photogs don't get the usual perspective. Well thought out and realized!

@Tracey: Thanks, I was pleased I found my own perspective on the place - although I did shoot a lot of touristy shots too!
Ahh yes !! Not so scientific 'theory of relativity ' !

Beautiful, love the structure and really enjoy the angle you took it at :)

Mostly interesting, Sir. I hope the tea 25 minutes later was fine...? (Just kidding ;-)

@MadScientist: Lol! I actually don't drink tea, so I'm not your typical british stereotype =D) Thanks for commenting.
Awesome shot, what I like about this, is the different take on a famous landmark. Good stuff.

@Graham Russon: Thanks Graham, thats what I was going for, I'm glad you like it =D)

@Ana Lúcia: Thanks!
I would have thought it impossible to get a new take on this one but you managed it here! The angle and perspective work well.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie. It is unlikely that this shot is truly original but until I see otherwise I am happy to accept claims of originality =D)
Great!

@Vikram: Thanks! =D) I find the Sigma cameras are great for capturing detail.
Turned out VERY well! The pov is inspired and personally I think the halo gives a very unique and appropriate effect. You do however need to do a cleaning on your sensor... damn spots (could go into the whole Macbeth thing but... LOL)

@amy: Out damn spots! Thanks for pointing those out. Like I said, it was a quick edit - I would normally have removed them before posting. But then I would normally have made sure there was no haloing too but you seem to like that?! Weirdo =Dp lol
Great image. Perhaps its the monitor I'm on right now, but I don't see "spots"; I see only one potential spot on the lamppost. Otherwise I don't see anything that should be removed.
14 Apr 2008 11:15am
@Twelvebit: Thanks =D) There are two or three dust spots, which you can see in the sky around the lamppost if you look really hard, as well as the white mark on the lampost. All have been taken care of as far as the original goes - although I have yet to clean my sensor.
