I am away from home until the 17th and may not get to update so I'm planning ahead. I'm going to put up a couple of different 'mini-series'. I apologise if I don't get round to rsponding to comments while I am away. I will do my best.
To start with are a few more from the lingerie shoot. These ones I feel are a little more experimental so let me know what you think.
I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms. I am here to learn. the fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)
If you don't have time to comment don't forget to give a star rating as you pass through!

interesting crop here, and i like the color...think if it was mine i'd play with getting the model even more separate from the background...in pp i'd try blurring out the background more, maybe adding a bit more strength to the figure via stronger color, shadow,...that's subjective i guess...

@Momo: Thanks. The crop was intentional as the model had to perch on the end of a chair and put her feet on a box just to get into this pose and I didn't want any of that in the shot. The pose is actually based on a low-key nude I saw once.
You're right about the background, I've been thinking about desaturating it to lessen its proximity but I suppose a little lens blur might work while I'm at it =D)
Thanks very much for your comment.
I like the composition a lot. Works well here. I get the impression your model was feeling cold though. Quite a bit of goosebumps ;) Nice work.

@CraHan: Thank you!
I really like your stuff but I can't figure out how to comment =D(
Neat pose, posture and composition. Excellent detail of the goosebumps.

Love the eyes and the hair! I think I would have liked to see a bit more of her face (all of her nose and more of her mouth). I like how you composed the shot and the pose seems natural for the model. I don't find the background too distracting and think that blurring it would give the shot a very different feel. The goose bumps need to go.

@Steven: I have an action that would smooth those goosebumps down but I wanted her to look cold, I tried to use a colour palette to emphasize this. But I might look at toning the goose bumps down a little while I'm playing with the background - they're certainly not pretty lol!
Thanks for your comment.
The first thing I noticed was how cold she looks!! Must have been extreme temps for that kind of shoot!

@Lilly: Ha ha! Good! Thats what I wanted. The second thing should be her eyes, if it went in that order then I'd be really happy lol!
Yes, it is currently very cold here in Newcastle =D(
very nice , I love her eyes

This crop works for me... What I believe is the DOF which require you to shoot with a longer lens for it to blur the background to bring out the subject sharper in the foreground. Goosebump can be taken care with neat image :)
I have a similar pose shot with my modes... works great time the way she is gazing...

@Babul Bhatt: Ues, you're right, a longer lens would have been perfect for this but I was working on a very small rooftop and didn't have the luxury of stepping back!
I think this is a magnificent shot...I love the way she is positioned and how her head is laying and the fact that you can't see all of her face:) Her eyes are intense enough you don't need alot more! wonderful job!
