I had been photographing on the London embankment but soon it got too dark to take pictures without a tripod. i didn't have a tripod so I dcided, rather than stop shooting or succcumb to motion blur, I would take some out of focus shots to see if I could come up with some pleasing abstract images.
I welcome all constructive comments, compliments and criticisms. I am here to learn. the fastest way for me to learn is for you to be really unforgiving and articulate in your criticism =D)

Sometimes it's fun to experiment, in this one, I would have found it pleasing to the eye iif you would have cropped out the top, because the light is too harsh so that it looses its ambiguity, loses some abstraction, I think the image would have appeal with only the golden tones...but that's just me ;) ps I would have cropped right after the blue, down

@Lorraine: Yes, I think you're right Lorraine. The lights at the top do glare at you. Its quite difficult on the eyes. But I wanted to get the sense of height, I didn't want it too abstract. I'll have to play around with it. Maybe a graduated filter...
Anyway, thanks for your advice.
I love the sense of height, you accomplished that! You got some dust there! hee hee. I love taking shots that make no sense, but turn out cool!

Lorraine is partly right, the lights are indeed too harsh. Lilly is also partly right, because you need the sense of height. Maybe reduce the brightness of the lights is the solution here. Jan

@JeBeKe: Good point. Maybe I can just drop a graduated fitler over the top in Photoshop....
Thanks for your input =D)
